Abstract:
A novel method for analyzing the product of catalyzed methanol dehydration, in sequential connected GDX 101 column A, CaH
2 translation reactor, TCD, GDX 101 column B, hydrogenation column, FID, was developed. H
2O, CH
3OH and C
2H
5OH, after being separated by the chromatographic column A, are changed into H
2 orderly in CaH
2 translation reactor, and then are detected by TCD, to not have to chemical analysis of the condensative components. The rest, CO, CH
4, CO
2, C
2H
4 and CH
3OCH
3, are being separated by the chromatographic column B, and CO and CO
2 are translated into CH
4 respectively, are finally detected with FID. The quantitative results show that the method is satisfactory with good preciseness and repeatability.
