Abstract:
This study conducts systematic research into various interference factors and corresponding methods of elimination in the catalytic spectrophotometry for the determination of trace mercury(II). The study aims at a new method for the determination of trace mercury (II) in waste water with multiple ingredients. The wide linear detection ranges from 3.0×10
-3 to 8.0×10
-2 μg/mL. The recovery is 97.79%~102.78% and the relative standard deviation is 0.116%. The determination result obtained is the same with that of absorption spectrometry.
