Application of Portable Gas Chromatograph in Measurement of Nitrogen in Natural Gas on Offshore Platform

  • In order to ensure the safety production of offshore platform, a portable chromatograph was employed to determine the contents of nitrogen in offshore natural gas using a portable gas chromatograph. The instrument can detect data with high accuracy and fast speed. A single sample detection time is 4 min, it can work continuously for 8 hours. The field test practice showed that the portable chromatograph has the advantages of simple operation and fast detection for the composition of gas, and it provides technical support for the fast detection of nitrogen in natural gas from offshore oil and gas fields.
