    Abstract: Cyclodextrins are cyclic oligosaccharides with D(+)-glucose units interconnected by α-1,4 bonds. The most characteristic property of cyclodextrins is their remarkable ability to form inclusion complexes with a wide variety of guest molecules. These stationary phases have been shown to be widely applicable for the separation of enantiomers, diastereomers, structure isomers, and routine compounds.
