Research Progress in Analytical Methods of Genetically Modified Organisms

  • 摘要: 简要介绍了转基因产品的发展历程、优缺点以及对转基因产品进行检测分析的迫切性,着重综述了近期基于DNA、蛋白质、生物传感器以及联用技术检测转基因产品的分析方法,最后对转基因产品的分析方法进行了展望.

     

    Abstract: By the use of transgenic technology, some of exogenous genes can be transferred into the body of organisms(including animal, plant, and microorganism) and recombine the initial gene of the organism with itself to meet human's various needs, which can eventually produce the so-called genetically modified organisms(GMOs). GMOs a develop rapidly due to their advantages and characteristics. However,with the continuous marketing of transgenic organisms, people hold suspicious and even hostile attitude to their development. The need to monitor and testify the presence and the amount of GMOs in transgenic organisms has boosted various analytical methods for the rapid, effective, accurate and reliable detection of these organisms. In this article the development process, advantages and disadvantages of GMOs, and the urgency to detect and analyze them are introduced. And the recent methods based on DNA, protein, biosensor, and multiple techniques for the detection of genetically modified products are reviewed, and the prospect for the detecting methods of transgenic products in the future is also put forward.
