Comparison of Different Determination Methods of Copper in Industrial Sludge

  • The flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) and fast iodimetry are introduced to analyze copper in the industrial sludge, and the contrast analysis of the results of two methods is performed. The results show that the accuracy and operability of both methods are favorable, the recovery rate is between 91.0%~99.0% and RSD is less than 7%. Iodimetric analysis is simple, accurate and reliable, but it is not suitable for the analysis of large batch samples. The flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry is speedy, highly-sensitive and can meet the needs of the bacth determination of Cu.
