Preparation and Application of Materials with Metal-Organic Frameworks and Their Composites in Solid Phase Microextraction

  • Metal organic frameworks (MOFs), a new multi-functional porous solid material emerging in recent years, are formed by the self-assembly of metal ions and organic ligands. Based on their advantages of high specific surface area, large porosity, good thermal stability and diversification of structure and function, such materials can be used as the potential adsorbents for the pretreatment and analysis of environmental pollutants such as water bodies, etc. Besides, the overall performance of MOFs composites is better than that of the parent MOFs materials due to the combination of MOFs materials and different functional materials such as carbon-based materials, polymers materials and magnetic nanoparticles. Therefore, the application of MOFs composites in sample pretreatment has aroused great interest and wide attention of the researchers. In this paper, the application of MOFs materials and MOFs composites in the sample pretreatment of solid phase microextraction(SPME) in recent 5 years are reviewed, and their development prospects are prospected.
