Determination of Metal Elements in Disposable Infusion by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

  • A method for the rapid determination of Cr, Cu, Cd, Sn, Ba and Pb in disposable infusion by the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is established. The leaching solution was prepared according to GB 8368-2005. Elements were determined by ICP-MS with 45Sc, 72Ge, 103Rh and 209Bi as the internal standards. The results showed that the linearity was good for all elements in the range of 0~0.1 μg/mL (r=0.999 9). The recoveries of elements were between 99.2% and 107.0% (n=9, RSD≤2.8%). The method is sensitive and accurate, and can be used for the determination of elements in disposable fusion set. A reference for the standard improvement, quality supervision and risk assessment is provided.
