Investigation of Corrosion Mechanism of Non-chromium Brush Plating Deposits

  • The corrosion resitance of new non-chromium brush plating deposits Ni-Fe-W-P-S hasbeen studied.The deposit specimens have have been analysed by Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM), Scanning Tunneling Microscope(STM), X-Ray Diffractorr and X-Ray Photoelectron Spectuometry(XPS) respectively,The results obtained show that the excellent corrosion resistance of non-chromium brush plating deposits is attributed to the amorphous structure of the matuix.
