The Influences of the Operational Parameters of FTIR Spectrometer on the Infrared Spectrum

  • The influences of several important operational parameters of the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer including aperture, apodization function and scanner velocity on the quality of spectra (i. e. the signal noise ratio and the resolution) have been systematically studied on Bruker IFS 120HR FTIR spectrometer using the diphenyl ketone in KBr disc as a reference. The optimun operation was thus obtained.
