    Abstract
  • The interfacial phase in SiCw/6061Al composite was investigated using an analytical electron microscope.The interfacial phase in SiCw/6061Al composite was identified by electron diffration analysis to be a body centered cubic phase with a lattice parameter of 1.28 nm. The chemical composition of the interfacial phase was analyzed by EDAX.
