Adjustment of CAHN-2000 Magnetic Balance and Studies on Data Process System

In thes paper the adjustment of CAHN-2000 Magnetic Balance is reported. The low temperature(-196℃) measurement and the manufacture of an interface between Magneter Blance and the computer are introduced. Several programs, such as, the dare collection program, the data processing program and the control program were compiled. The functions of the improved instrument were better than the original set. During the past four years, all the parts including the progams of the improved at worked well and over 10 articles which used the data obtained with this improved set have been published on internal and abroad scientific journals.Our experience illustrates that it is important both to understand the fundamentals and the construction of an instrument and to have the ability of making fittings by ourselves.
