HPLC Analysis of Inorganic Anions with Indirect Spforophotomotic Detection

A method to determine inorganic anions by HPLC with indirect spectrophotometric detection was set up.The influences of kind and concentration of eluting agent on the detection sensitivity were studied and the chromatographic conditions optimized. Using 1.0mmol/L sodium benzoate and 0.6mmol/L sodium citrate as eluant,good separation of six anions,H₂PO₄^-、Cl^-、No₂^-、Br^-、NO₃^-、SO₄^2-,was obtained in 15min on Silica-based anionexchange colunm and the opnimum detection limit was 4.0×10^-9g for Cl^-.
