Study of the Preparation of Nano ZrO2 Powder by DSC, TGA and XRD Techniques

  • DSC, TGA and XRD techniques have been used to study the influence of NH4Cl,pH value,titration method and the amount of Y2O3 additive on the crystallization of nano powder.The results prove that the presence of NH4Cl plays a dominant role on the crystallization of nano ZrO2 powder.The other factors have no apparent influence on the crystallization. If there is no residual NH4Cl, the crystalliation which takeS place at 445℃ is an exothermic process,on the contrary the crystallization Which takes place at 376℃ is an endothermic process.
