SSDesign and Application of New Carrier Based PVC Membrane Salicylate-Sensitive Electrode

A solvent polymeric membrane anion-sensitive electrode based on tribenzyltin octanoate as the neutral carrier is reported.The sensor exhibits uniquese lectivity and high sensitivity toward salicylate ion.It gives linear response over the concentration range 1.0×10^-1～5.0×10^-6 mol/L and a response slope of -57.6mV/dec.(at 22℃) in buffer solutions of pH5.5.The electrode displays fast response,Stability and repeatability so it is potentially useful for estimating salicylate levels in pharmaceutical and biological samples.
