Recent Advance of Optical Detectors for Electrophoresis

The optical detectors for capillary electrophoresis(CE) are reviewed with 117 references. According to the working principle, the optical detectors can be classified into UV-visible detector, laser induced fluorescence detector, chemiluminescence detector, charge-coupled device detector, refractive index detector and so on. These detectors have the advantages of simple operation and large amount of information, they have good propects in future application.
