Fast Determination of Sulphur in Waste Liquid from Leather-making Process by Ampere Detection and Flow Injection Analysis

  • The sulphur content in waste liquid from leather-making process of liming and unhairing can be fast determined by ampere detection and flow injection analysis(FLA) with low pressure ion chromatography(LPIC). Compared with the routine chemical analysis, the results obtained by ampere detection and FLA is more satisfactory. It has many advantages such as high automation, precision and detection sensibility and fast analysis etc. It can save over 96 percent of chemical reagent with 1.37 percent of varation coefficient and 0.998 of its correlation coefficient. The lowest detection limit is less than 0.10 μmol/L with ist recovery ration ranging from 95 percent to 104 percent. This method will be widely used in leathermaking industry.
