Luminol-AuR2+-K2S2O8 Chemiluminescence System and Its Application

  • A new complex chemiluminescence, i. e., luminol K2S2O8 catalyzed by AuR2+ complex is reported. Based on this catalyse a new chemiluminescence method for determining trace of Au(Ⅲ) is proposed. The detection limit is 1×10-8 g/L Au(Ⅲ). The linear dynamic range is 1×10-6~1×10-4 g/L Au(Ⅲ) and the variation coefficient at a concentration of 1×10-4 g/L Au(Ⅲ) is 2.0%(n=5). This method has been applied satisfactorily in the determination of trace gold in silicate.
