Determination of Linoleic Acid in Grain by Underivatized High Performance Liguid Chromatography

  • An underivatized HPLC determination method for the Linoleic acid (LA) from grain was reported. The sample was analyzed in a C8 reversed phase column with the mobile phase acetonitrile+tetrahydrofuran+water (0.4% acetic acid) in ration (62:3:35) using refractive index detector. LA of a batch grain was determined. The content, standard derivation, variation coefficient were 3.16%, 0.13% and 4.13%, respectively. The reovrery reached 93.9%~96.22%.
