Study on Quality Level of Zhenkening Syrup

  • A RP HPLC method was developed for Determination of Ephedrine Hydrochloride in Zhenkening Syrup. Chromatographic column,Shimadzu ODS (5 μm,id 4.6×250 mm). Mobile phase, acetonitrile/ammonium acetute buffer solution (25/75, v/v). Detection wavelength, 257 nm. The linear correlation was good in the range of 0.4~3.0 μg of Ephedrine Hydrochloride in Zhenkening Syrup (r=0.999 7). The average recovery was 98.96%(n=9) and RSD was 0.35%. The method is simple, rapid and accurate.
