HG-AAS Determination of Mercury in Coating

  • A method for determining mercury in coating by atomic absorption spectrometry with flow injection hydride generator was established. In the range of 0~100 mg/mL, Mercury obeyed Beer's law. The linear regresion equation was C=128.640A-3.9200,γ=0.9994, RSD of mercury was less than 5%, recoveries 95%~108%, and derection limit 0.8 mg/mL for 3SS/S. It was proued to be an accurate and method result in the analysis of actual samples.
