Determination of the Content of Gibberellin A3 and Indoleacetic Acid from Fertilizer by HPLC

  • To develop a reliable method for the determination of the content of Gibberellin A3 and Indoleacetic acid by HPLC,an Agilent ZORBA×300SB-C18(4.6 mm×250 mm)column was used.The mobile phase was CH3OH:H2O=35:65(V/V,2% CH3COOH) at a flow rate of 0.5 mL/min,the column temperature was 25℃,and an IR detector was used.The content of samples were quantitated by peak area with external standard.The standard curves of GA3 and IAA were linear in the range of 25.0~1 000 μg/mL and 2.5~50.0 μg/mL,respectively.The average recovery were 85.63% and 90.21,respectively.The effects of several HPLC parameters on the resolution were studied systematically.The results demonstrate that the proposed method also promises to be applicable to the quality control of the fertilizer.
