The Application of Capillary Electrophoresis to the PharmaceuticalSeparation and Analysis

The application of capillary electrophoresis to the chiral drug, pharmaceutical preparations, and Chinese herbal medicine in recent 5 years was reviewed. For the chiral drug, the species of chiral selectors and the separation method were discussed chifly. The method was also applied to the separation and quantitative determination of pharmaceutical preparations and Chinese herbal medicine. Detection limit, linear range and detection method were summarized and got satisfactory results. At last, the application of capillary electroporesisin to the calculation of reaction rate constant was also discussed. Capillary electrophoresis will have vast application prospect to the medicine.
