Characterization of Planar Binuclear Iron Phthalocyanine Using LaserDesorption Ionization Time of Flight Mass Spectrometry

  • Relative molecular weight of planar binuclear iron phthalocyanine was successfully determined by laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry (LDI-TOF-MS) technique.The effect of three kinds of matrix on the analytical result was investigated, however, the matrix hasn't improved the quality of spectra. The LDI-TOF-MS technique without addition of any matrix was found to provide better results for this kind of compound.
