Rapid Determination of Major and Minor Components in Manganese Ore Samples by XRF Spectrometry

  • A method for the determination of Mn,Na,Mg,Al,Si,P,K,Ca and Fe in the manganese ore by X-Ray fluorescence spectrometric technique was developed. Although the analytical accuracy of the method is not inferior to the chemical method and fusion sample preparation—X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, better precision and large measurement range can be obtrusive using this method. The method is simple and quick, and can meet the requirement of the testing of batch manganese ore samples in the laboratory.
