Uncertainty Evaluation for Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometric Determination of Mo in Soil Samples of Geochemistry Exploration

  • Using inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometer, the determination of Mo in soil samples of geochemistry exploration, and the assessment of uncertainty of the measurement results have been carried out. The main factors impacting the detection uncertainty including reproducibility, sample weighing, and cleanliness of containers were analyzed. In order get more objective and authentic results, expanded uncertainty was also calculated according to the JJF 1059-1999 "Assessment and expression of detection uncertainty".
