Determination of Chromium, Iron, Sulfur and Other 10 Major and Minor Elements in Chromite Ores by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry

  • A method for the determination of Cr2O3,TFe,SiO2,CaO,MgO,Al2O3,TiO2,P2O5,MnO and S in chromite ore by using a ZSX Primus Ⅱ X-ray fluorescence spectrometer with a fusion preparation technique has been developed.In the method, a mixed flux, with NH4NO3 as an oxidant and Li2CO3 as the protecting agent is used, which effectively inhibits the volatilization of sulfur element.The method is rapid,simple,accurate,the results matched with the standard values and the chemical values. It can be effectively used in the actual productive and research work.
