Study on Electrochemical Degradation Process for Sudan I Based on FTO Glass

  • The electrochemical degradation process of Sudan I has been developed based on the Fdoped-tin oxide (FTO) glass. The effects of electrolyte concentration, pH,applied voltage, and initial concentration of Sudan I on the decolorization were studied. The results showed that the decolorization ratio of 0.01 g/L Sudan I was up to 60% within 20 min when using 20 g/L NaCl (pH 9.0) as the electrolyte, 12 V as the applied voltage.
